Plans

rnx is free for personal use on your own machine. Commercial use requires Pro after a 30-day evaluation, and embedding the simulator in your own product requires Enterprise. Pro also lets you disable all telemetry and unlocks preview uploads, CI API keys, desktop recording, shared-account workflows, and automatic PR preview flows. 3D mode and its full scene controls are included on every tier.

Plans

TierPriceWho it’s for
Free$0Personal, non-commercial use of the local CLI and browser simulator.
Pro$10/moCommercial license, no-telemetry option, preview uploads, CI uploads, 90-day previews. $5 the first month.
EnterpriseCustomEmbedding, larger teams, contract terms, SSO, support, or custom limits.

License

rnx is proprietary software. Free covers personal, non-commercial use on machines you control, plus a single 30-day evaluation for commercial work. Pro grants commercial use for internal development and testing, including your own CI, for up to 10 members per organization. Making the simulator available to anyone outside your team, whether inside a product, a docs site, or a public demo, requires an Enterprise agreement. The full agreement is at /legal/license.

Usage

Pro covers up to 10 members per organization and includes $10 of usage per month. Cloud usage is metered in the shared account ledger:

  • +
    Build / preview upload: $0.10.
  • +
    Walkthrough / AI preview: $0.20.
  • +
Test suite: $0.15 per 20-minute runtime block.

Included usage draws first, then prepaid balance. If the account has no available balance or hits a spending cap, billable actions reject until billing is updated.

Retention

Pro retains previews for 90 days. Enterprise uses its contract policy. These are storage limits, independent of how many shares you create.

Account workflows

Paid plans attach to a personal account or a shared account. Shared accounts own their repos, API keys, cloud previews, and usage ledger. GitHub org linking grants repo access and CI identity on the existing plan.

Managing billing

Open Billing from rnx or Contrast to view usage, payment status, caps, and Stripe portal links. API keys belong to the account and charge that account’s usage.
